Our Kohl has natural water resistance, but since it contains no synthetic binders or waxes, it is not fully waterproof like a commercial liner. It usually lasts for several hours to all day. Oily lids, watery eyes and creamy products near the eyes can make it travel. For longer wear, tap off the excess before applying, blot the area first, or set it with a little translucent powder.

There is a small learning curve and it gets easy fast. Swipe the applicator along your waterline, dip it in the Kohl, tap off the excess, then rest it sideways on the waterline and glide it from the inner corner out while gently closing your eye over it. An instruction card comes in the set, and you can also use it like a pencil along the lash line.
