Moroccan Ghassoul, also known as Rhassoul or Moroccan Lava Clay, is a natural clay mined from the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. It has been used for centuries in North African beauty rituals due to its high mineral content and gentle cleansing properties.

Rich in silica, magnesium, and calcium, Ghassoul helps absorb excess oil, remove impurities, and exfoliate the skin without stripping moisture. It can be used as a face mask, body cleanser, or hair treatment, making it a versatile addition to any skincare routine. When mixed with water or floral waters like rose or orange blossom, it forms a smooth paste that cleanses while nourishing the skin and scalp.

Gently exfoliates the skin, making it suitable for sensitive skin

Tightens and deeply cleanses the pores, preventing acne breakouts

Reduces bumps and dry skin, allowing for better absorption of skincare products

Reduces the appearance of blackheads and redness

For the Face & Body:

In a small bowl, mix 1-2 tablespoons of Ghassoul clay with water or floral water (such as rose or orange blossom) until it forms a smooth paste.

Apply a thin layer to clean skin, avoiding the eye area.

Leave on for 5-10 minutes (do not let it fully dry on the skin).

Rinse off with warm water and follow with a moisturizer or oil.

For the Hair & Scalp:

Mix 2-3 tablespoons of Ghassoul with water or aloe vera juice to create a runny paste.

Apply to damp hair and scalp, massaging gently.

Let sit for 5-10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with warm water.

Follow with a conditioner or natural hair oil if needed.

Tips:

For dry skin or hair, mix Ghassoul with honey, yogurt, or argan oil for added moisture.

Use 1-2 times per week for best results.

Great product

Good product once you know how to use it. My skin type changes with the season and with certain products I use.
For oily skin, I can use it normally on my face and neck (usually with the Nila powder).
When It's more dry I either still use it, just for a shorter duration (so It's not fully dry). If not, I still use it, just a spot treatment for my acne (those big juicy pimples just disappear right after or go down significantly. It can't get the deeper ones from my experience).

Bought for KP discoloration

I’ve only used this soap a few weeks and I can see some improvement. I had a Keratosis Pilaris flare up on my belly that left some acne scars and they look so much better. I don’t think it has improved my worst discoloration from KP (I don’t think anything will) but the lighter scars have faded. It also does feel pretty moisturizing. I’m going to continue to buy it. I have sensitive skin and the soap has done no harm to it.
