For the hammam experience in a bath or shower, apply a tablespoon of black soap on wet skin. Massage in circular motions and leave on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing with water. Then use the kessa mitt to scrub away dead skin cells. Use the kessa back scrubber to exfoliate your back. Moisturize your skin with Moroccan Argan Oil.

The design is really great for reaching the back

The design is really great for reaching the back, but I found the texture of the kessa to be too soft for me, I like a much firmer kessa, but if you are new to using this type of scrubber it should be fine for you.

Questions before you buy.

Can I scrub my whole back on my own with this?

Yes, that is exactly what it is made for! Hold a handle in each hand and work it across your back in firm, short strokes on damp, softened skin. If your reach is limited, hold closer to the scrubbing panel for more control and pressure.

How long does it last, and how do I care for it?

Rinse it well after each use, wring it out and hang it to dry fully. Please skip the washing machine. If it ever picks up a smell, soak it for an hour in hot water with a cup of white vinegar. Most people replace theirs every 8 to 12 months.

Do I need Moroccan Black Soap with it?

It exfoliates on its own, but you will see far more dead skin with Moroccan Black Soap, as it creates the friction that lets the glove lift the most dead skin. So you will see far better results together.

How rough does it feel?

It has real grip but it is not harsh, and our current weave is gentle while still lifting buildup. It feels stiff when dry, so soak it in warm water for a minute before use and it softens up.

Can I use it on my arms and legs too?

You can, but it is designed for the hard-to-reach back. For arms, legs and the rest of your body, our regular Kessa Glove gives you more control.

Again, I love that all of their products are natural/organic. The Aker Fassi provides a beautiful color for the lips and cheeks! It lasts on my cheeks all day, even in the hot sun. I have yet to to try methods to get it to stay on my lips all day, but the color is lovely, and I believe it would complement all skin tones. A little goes a long way!

Wow, where do I start... I love this Kohl so much and I wouldn't change anything about it! A year ago, I was in Jordan and bought an $8 kajal/ithmud in Petra, and it was made in India with a plastic applicator. It was fine to use for some time, but I realized whenever I got it under my eyes, it was very smudgy and stubborn to remove. Skalli Essentials kohl comes with a PERFECT natural applicator, and the black powder itself is very easy to remove and wipe away. At the same time, I don't know how it's possible, but I can also do perfect winged eyeliner with this without adding water! It lasts all day, even when I'm hot outside. I don't notice the product getting in my eyes, but if it does, I can't feel it at all because it doesn't burn. Follow the directions, and you'll get the hang of application. The only thing I'd say is that a bit of black powder comes out when you first open it, and each time the container is opened, a tiny bit comes out. It's really not bad though, just do it over the sink or any easy-to-clean surface. The results are amazing, long-lasting, and really do make my eyes pop, all with natural and organic ingredients(:
