Long-Lasting: Moroccan Kohl adheres well to the eyes, providing long-lasting wear. And yes, it's even water-resistant! It is best to apply it before bedtime and wake up to beautifully defined eyes.

Natural Ingredients: Traditionally made from natural ingredients, Moroccan Kohl is often prized for its purity. It's gentle on the eyes, making it suitable for sensitive skin types.

For first use, clean the applicator tip with alcohol and allow it to fully dry. Once dry, gently swipe the applicator along your waterline before dipping it into the kohl, this helps the powder adhere.

Dip the applicator into the kohl, shake off excess, and apply to the waterline from the inner to outer corner. Blink naturally to help it settle.

You may also apply it like a pencil. Clean excess kohl with a damp cotton swab or tissue. Store applicator in the included bag and keep the kohl dry. For extra hygiene, clean applicator weekly with alcohol and allow to fully dry before storing or using.

In case of irritation, rinse eyes with cold water.

Kohl can be removed with rose water or micellar water.

Is your Moroccan Kohl lead-free?

Yes. Our Kohl is made with just two ingredients, almond soot and olive oil, and it is third-party lab tested and lead-free. You can email us at info@skalliessentials.com to request our most recent lab documentation.

Can I wear Kohl with contact lenses?

Yes. Always put your contact lenses in first, then apply Kohl. Applying Kohl before your lenses can trap particles against your eye. At the end of the day, take your lenses out before removing your Kohl.

Does Moroccan Kohl smudge? How long does it last?

Our Kohl has natural water resistance, but since it contains no synthetic binders or waxes, it is not fully waterproof like a commercial liner. It usually lasts for several hours to all day. Oily lids, watery eyes and creamy products near the eyes can make it travel. For longer wear, tap off the excess before applying, blot the area first, or set it with a little translucent powder.

Is Kohl difficult to apply if I have never used it?

There is a small learning curve and it gets easy fast. Swipe the applicator along your waterline, dip it in the Kohl, tap off the excess, then rest it sideways on the waterline and glide it from the inner corner out while gently closing your eye over it. An instruction card comes in the set, and you can also use it like a pencil along the lash line.

Is it hygienic to reuse the applicator?

Yes, as long as it stays yours and stays dry. Wipe off excess Kohl with a damp cotton swab or tissue and keep the applicator in the pouch that comes with the set. Once a week you can clean it with a little alcohol and let it dry fully. Kohl itself is a dry powder with no water in it, so it does not spoil.

If you are into natural beauty/body care and respect tradition, you will truly appreciate these products. The Ultimate moroccan hammam had all of the essential products you might want.
