Also known as deer's blood, Moroccan Aker Fassi is a highly-pigmented plant powder made from poppy flower and pomegranate bark powder. It's been historically used in Morocco as a natural tint for lips and cheeks, and it's also renowned for its many skincare benefits. Rich in flavonoids and antioxidants, Aker Fassi powder can help improve skin tone, giving a natural glow and helping reduce dark spots or pigmentation. I need more practice with the powder.

I have to use it a little more but I do wish the container it comes in was more secure than a cork . The eyeliner one has a screw on lid, I think this should too. It does come with a lip brush. I was unaware so I had purchased one too. So now I have two.
I wanted a darker shade so I did little bit of water on brush. Enough to grab the powder and spread it over my lips. I should've used more water or less powder. I got a little in my mouth and saw it over my teeth and just started rinsing and scrubbing off. I didnt want it to stain my teeth red. So I had put it away and went for another kind of lipstain for that day.
I need more practice with the powder to be able to comeback and give you a better review. I should've gotten the clay pot one instead.. I wish they had samples because now I have this whole product and spent all that money not knowing if its really going to work out for me.

How do you use Aker Fassi Powder as a lip and cheek stain?

Lightly dampen your lip brush with water or Rose Water, pick up a tiny amount of powder and apply to your lips and cheeks. Water gives a deeper red and a light oil gives a softer tint. If the color is not picking up, your brush is usually too dry, so dampen it again and press it into the powder. Start small and build.

What else can I mix Aker Fassi Powder with?

Aker Fassi Powder mixes into cleansers, toners, masks, oils and lotions. Many people add a pinch to their body wash or soap for a rosy tint on the hands and feet, or to a clay mask for a natural glow.

Does it come with a lip brush?

How long does one jar last?
