Color Red

Due to popular request, we recently improved the color of this product. It is a universally flattering shade of red! Includes a lip brush.

Encased in a handmade terracotta clay pot, Aker Fassi has been used for centuries in Morocco to tint the lips and cheeks. It is made of only three natural plant powders: poppy flower powder, henna powder, and pomegranate bark powder. The color is buildable and can last for several hours before fading. 

Please note that due to the handmade nature of this product, there can be slight variations in size and shape. Both the red and the dark red clay pots have the same ingredients; the difference in color is due to how they are made!

Please note that the color may look different depending on your skin tone. You may need to apply less or more to achieve the tint that best suits your skin tone. 

Our Aker Fassi Clay pots are lab certified lead free

For external use only

Wet a q-tip or cotton swab in oil or water and gently rub it on the inside of the terracotta pot. Apply to your lips and your cheeks, blending as needed. Do not use your fingers, as the product will stain the skin. Moisturize your lips as needed.

Very fun to try - not practical

A very cool concept. However the use and storage are inconvenient and impractical. While holding it, color gets on sink, clothes etc...so I hold it using a tissue paper. The brush that comes with it holds too little spreadable pigment, so I used a larger lip brush that holds more water and that works, but also carries too much pigment. Still fiddling with this. I would like to buy a better quality one next time, with a lid and something that sits flat on the table.

Thank you for your feedback! Aker Fassi is a highly pigmented natural product, so a little goes a long way. We recommend using a wet q-tip instead of a brush, as it absorbs less water and helps control the pigment better.

I’ve been ranting and raving about several products, but this is the first I’ve tried. I totally understand how someone could “wake up like this” or just ditch the makeup. This is super potent if you use it right. Just a tiny dab goes a looooonnnnggggg way
