Drawn from centuries of Moroccan hammam tradition, Skalli Essentials Henna Powder is a ritual and treatment. Sourced from Lawsonia inermis leaves, our Henna Powder is coarsely milled the traditional way. Unlike ultra-finely milled powders that can release color very quickly, our traditional grind allows the stain to develop more gradually. This gives you greater control over your results while still delivering the rich, natural coloring and beauty benefits henna is known for.

For hair, henna helps condition strands, enhance shine, and improve the appearance of fullness and strength. For the body, it can be incorporated into traditional hammam rituals and treatments that have been cherished for generations.

For Your Hair:

For Your Skin:

  • Will stain with extended contact time; leave on longer for a natural tint

Hair: Mix henna powder with warm water. For more intense color, add 1–2 tsp of apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, or green tea to form a thick, smooth paste. Cover and let sit 2–3 hours to release dye, adding more water if needed. Section hair and apply evenly from roots to ends while wearing gloves. Cover and leave on for 3–4 hours, then rinse thoroughly with cool water until it runs clear.

Skin: Mix henna powder with warm water to form a smooth paste. Apply to clean, dry skin. Leave on for 15–20 minutes as a cleansing mask, or longer for a natural tint. Results may vary based on skin tone, so adjust wear time as desired. Rinse off with warm water and pat dry.

Worth every penny

This is the first product I've ever used that gave me noticeable results after just one use. It has been a game changer for my hair.
