Like many of you, I had my doubts that an aluminum stone can replace and be just as effective in blocking odor than a typical deodorant purchased from the store.
So I bought it. To try on my younger siblings underarms (note: she is going through puberty so who else would be the perfect candidate to try it out adn see if its actually good). If it could withstand the mustiness of a child going through puberty, then I would indeed be a believer.
When it came, (arrived within 2 days I must add), it was a singular rock that you could hold with one hand. I then read the directions, and it said to just rinse with water before applying to your armpits (very simple). I told my younger sibling (who is 11 by the way) that they were to use this after every shower from that day on and then we shall see if this stone is worth the hype.
Just to set the tone, when I say my younger sibling smells musty, I mean going through puberty musty (if you know, you know). Plus, finding organic deodorants that is safe for a kid to use is literally non-existent (they all have endocrine disruptors and/or getting sued for affecting a person's health). Because of that, my sibling would not wear deodorant at all, so yes, we were indeed all suffering (nose warfare).
HOWEVER and SUPRISINGLY, after picking them up from school a few times, I noticed there was no longer the routine of my sibling taking a shower as soon as they arrived to erase the smell of their mustiness. If anything, one day I noticed (at this point my sibling was using it for about a week) I was able to stand next to them and told our mom "Is it just me, or does (sibling) have no smell?". Told my sibling to put their arms up and braced myself to smell their underarms. Instead of my nose burning and my eyes tearing up......I smelled nothing...literally nothing. Even our mom, who can smell your fart before you can, did not smell anything.
So that is that, I became a believer in the aluminum stone. If you have any doubt, I am telling you to BUY it. If you know any family suffering through the mustiness of their child going through puberty and want an organic deodorant, BUY THIS.
Buy a stone and save a nose.
